Unable  to turn off face is always on

Hi there, @mima5. Welcome to the Community Forums. 

As @JohnnyRow has suggested, please check if by any chance you have turned on the always-on display setting. To do so, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Swipe down from the clock face to access quick settings.
  2. Tap the Settings app > Display settings > Always-on display.
  3. Tap Always-on display to turn the setting on or off. To set the display to automatically turn off during certain hours, tap Off-hours.

Clock faces without an always-on display mode use a default always-on display clock face. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?

Check settings if you have chosen always-on clock face.   It would be a minimal click face always dim.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
