How do I use the Fitbit app to track my steps?

Before I updated the app my fone wud record my steps if I was walking an didn't move my arm with my fibit 5 anyone know how to solve e this

Hello @7paddysteps 

It sounds like you had Mobile Track enabled in the previous app version. In the updated app, here's how to add your phone to track your steps:

• Tap on the device icon in the upper left to open the Connected to Fitbit
• Tap on Phone under Add Connections
• Follow the prompts to add your phone

After you complete this process, you should see steps from your phone in the app.

I do see the steps 🚶‍:female_sign: on the old app if I had the fone in my pocket without watch on it use to count them,but it dint now
