I have to change phones and emails. None of the instructions I've read in the forum work to change my FitBit account email. (Yes, I already changed the login to a Google account a year ago.)
Is this even possible or do I just kill the entire account and start again? And do I have to do it from a phone app?
I really don't care what I have to do - I just want the simplest method. My experience with FitBit has been such a nightmare (including my husband's $130 FitBit being bricked shortly after a year thanks to FitBit, who won't even replace the thing!).

Hello @DanceDance
If you haven't already migrated your Fitbit account to your Google account, that might be the easiest way to change your Fitbit account info. If you do this and don't have a Google account yet, I suggest creating the Google account first, then migrate your Fitbit account to the Google account so that you don't lose your historical data.

Thanks - I already migrated a year ago. Now what?

Hello @DanceDance
I think you'll need to contact Support (<-- click link) and see if they can help you migrate your current Fitbit account to another Google account.
Otherwise, the option would be to create a new Google account and use it as your new Fitbit account. This would mean that you would be starting over and would lose your historical data.

Support was absolutely useless! Thanks.
