I'm living in Japan. I want to set the screen language to English. But I cannot find the "select screen language" feature on both Charge 5 device and Fitbit app. How can I do that?

You have to go into the Fitbit App on your phone, click on your picture. Then look down the page until you see Settings. Click on App Settings. Choose Location. Change your location to an English speaking country of your choice.
You will then have to update your Fitbit to take on the new language.
One annoying downside to this is that you miss out on the offers like a free strap if you pre-order, because it will be sent from the country you chose as your location, not Japan.
Good luck and enjoy!

Hello Wibby,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I could change my Charge 5's language into English by setting "Select location" to "United States". I wonder why Fitbit doesn't have a feature to select UI language. It's inconvenent especially for English speaker who's living in non-English country... But anyway, thank you for your kindness !

Thank you!
Someone made a feature suggestion for this and I voted for it, but it seems to have got buried…
I’m including a link. If you get the chance, please vote for it and leave a comment. It might help in the future.
I think we’re lucky to get the Charge 5 as they sold out quickly here!
Enjoy yours!

Some of the clock faces do not show up properly in the Norwegian language (there is not enough space for the date shown on the top-line of the display). Changing the location to the US fixed that. Great!
