How to stop vibrations at step goal interval???

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the updated app, I cannot find a place to turn off the step interval vibration notification. There was a place in old app to turn on vibration notifications for 25%, 50%, 75%, but I see nothing like that in new app. The vibrations have become annoying and I want to turn it off. I had to remove my Fitbit tonight because it would not stop, like defective, out of control vibrations for percentages of step count goal. Please help!

Hello & welcome @WEKIgirl

Let's help you get those annoying notifications turned off.

  • Tap on your picture/icon in the upper right on the Today page
  • Tap Fitbit settings in the pop up menu
  • Tap on Notifications
  • On this page, toggle off the Push notifications to your Charge 5 that you no longer want, including Step Goal Milestones
  • Scroll up and confirm/update your Email notifications
  • Tap the arrows in the upper left to return to the Today page
  • Even though I don't think it's required, I suggest doing a manual sync

Let us know if you are still having issues with the notifications.

This did not fix issue. I even rebooted my Charge 5 Fitbit. It is like the Fitbit kept some of the old settings from old app version, but settings are not updating with changes made in new app version. It keeps vibrating every 10 or 20 step increases, stuck in the range of 400 to 500, even though actual step count on home page shows on the thousands.
