That's a good question, and no that is not confirmed, at least not to my knowledge

These features have to be approved by Health regulatory bodies like Health Canada or FDA and we all know how fast they work.

@stellafred @You say the Sense is really too big for you but you seem to have had a versa previously... Is there such a big difference between them?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Well the altimeter on my Sense does not work right. My Ionic was much better.

Sense does not count floors correctly so your move is a good one. I'm thinking about making the same switch.

Don't....I've been a FitBit user for years and I'm about to switch...too many irritations such as daily notifications asking you if you want to be tracked....that you can't turn off....and my one-month-old Charge 5 tracks my walks anyway and they can't tell me how to turn it off. No attempt to change bad programming on the FitBit Apple app.

@Phoebus77 @roushjk I appreciate all the feedback that you've shared about these devices.
Thanks again for all your comments and feedback. If you have another suggestion about these devices, make sure to post this idea in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community including as many details as possible, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers.
Just keep in mind that the Charge 5 does not include the option to track floors. The Charge 5 includes many of the features available with Fitbit smartwatches at a more accessible price, but the option to track floors wasn't included with this specific device. You can find all the features available with this tracker on the Charge 5 Product Manual and on the Fitbit Store.
See you around.

I made these suggestions in the Feature Suggestion Board (which BTW, I'd never have found without your link....it's not obvious on it's own).
Removing the track floor option in the Charge 5 was disappointing....especially since I didn't learn about it until after purchase. I'd also request it be brought. Fitbit is doing something pretty common among tech companies; beginning to make their production items so diverse technically that they lose sight of the simple reasons that their products became popular for.

I really like my Charge 5 (even over my apple watch s7). The sense and charge are two very different devices, but I had a similar dilemma as you. The charge 5 won out because by design it is very minimalistic. I have several mechanical watches I like to wear; so wearing the charge 5 on the opposite wrist doesn't feel l awkward. Plus, the charge 5 seems to track my workouts really well. Also if you are Costco member, you may want to check out their bundles on Fitbits (great prices).

Just in case anyone’s still wondering, he got the Charge 5 some time ago and made this thread about how he was enjoying it. I hope he still is.

wait until they have stabilized the issues with Charge 5 intermittently rapidly discharging. I regret buying mine.

Wow. I've smacked my Sense on the stone kitchen counter, against a door frame and a wall. No issues. Must be lucky.....and of course I just jinxed myself!

Don’t get Fitbit. It’s no longer the good Fitbit we used to get. I have been a Fitbit user since 2015. My Charge5 lasted less than 5 months.

Definitely lucky. Mine took a fall of just a couple feet and got a nice set of cracks from the corner out. Must have landed just right because it wasn't a hard fall. Otherwise I like my sense. It mostly does what I need. I did have to buy a new one, no help from FB.
