I got this watch as a birthday present from my husband and I was really looking forward to tracking the calories burned whenever I exercise. But so far, this watch registers the wrong exercises and the wrong times. Today, for example, I did 50 minutes of aerobics and the machine registered it as swimming for 26 minutes. Yesterday, I did 60 minutes of weight lifting and it was registered as walking for 9 minutes.
I am very much frustrated, for I depend on the amount of calories burned to know how many I need to eat every day. It turned out to be a very disappointing birthday present, I am afraid.

1) Those will not affect the daily total calorie burn.
2) You are apparently relying of auto-detect of exercise, which relies on Fitbit being able to recognize what you are doing, just by the movement pattern of your wrist. In my experience, that is generally accurate for walks, but for other activities I am strongly in favor of using the Exercise App, where you tell it what you are doing and when you start and stop.
See How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device? for more on using the Exercise App. Here is one snip from that link.
