You can see the currently firmware version of your device by tapping on your profile picture at the top of the dashboard on your app > Then tap on Charge 5 > You'll see at the top of the screen the last time you synced, the firmware version and the battery level.
Keep in mind the last firmware version that was released for the Charge 5 is the 1.49.11, so if you have this version there's nothing to worry about; you will see a red banner on your dashboard indicating when a new update is available. Here you can find more information about firmware updates that have been released.
