I can't get my Charge 5 to read on my Samsung Galaxy A12

Hello,

 I get to the stage where it says " Your Charge 5 Inclues a 6-month Fitbit Premium Membership " 

 

 In the middle of the page is a small white letterbox that Says Please Wait with a green circling worm .

I appreciate all the details that you've shared about the inconvenience you're experiencing with the Charge 5. 

Before considering other options, make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page, since it's often required to read the entire read to be able to proceed with the next step. If you're still having trouble to complete the set up process, please complete a three pulse restart and let me know if you continue to experience the same behavior: 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

In addition, if the problem is related to the app, please try the following steps: 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to proceed with the set up.
