I cannot change the hours on the reminder to move. I have read all the threads and tried all the suggestions with out success. This has been going on for quite some time and I am quite frustrated at the lack of an answer. Please help!

Hello @L-B12, nice to see you around the community.
I'm sorry to read about this inconvenience with your Fitbit Charge 5. Thanks for all the steps you've already done!
Please note this issue can be caused by several things, and I'd like to exhaust all possible causes. Let's start by checking if the app is updated to the latest version available, as well as the iOS or Android system version.
If that is the case, try to fully remove the reminders instead of changing them. Once removed, try setting them back up.

My iphone ll’s iOS is up to date. I’ve just updated the app(wasn’t available yesterday) but still no joy. I’ve also removed the reminders to move and put them back on but it is still not working

Hello @L-B12, thanks for the quick reply!
I'm sorry to read the issue persists after my recommendations, let's try something different!
Can you confirm on your watch setting that quiet modes like DND and Sleep mood aren't turned on? These settings might prevent any notification from coming through your watch. You can do it by swiping down from the clock face to access quick settings. Turn on DND mode or Sleep mode to turn notifications off. Make sure both settings are turned off to receive notifications.

They are turned on. The reminders to move work but I can’t change the hours, what ever method I try do it. They are stuck on 6am - 2 pm. As you can appreciate I am not up at that time every day!

Thanks @L-B12, for the clarification, let's try something different!
Since this seems to be an issue/glitch with the app, why don't we try logging out from the account and logging back in?
Also, try to clear the app's cache from your phone settings. Once you have done this, try changing the settings again.

I’ve logged out and back in. I’ve unpaired it and re paired it. I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I will try clearing the cache

I’ve tried all the suggestions at least once, most several times and I still can’t change the hours on the reminder to move. I think I need to except that it doesn’t work

This morning there was another update but still no joy. Now when I tap settings to change time I get”something went wrong unable to load your goals”.
I give up!

Hi, @EstuardoFitbit . I (and tons of other people) have been having this same problem. I've commented a lot on some other post about it (possibly one started by me!) but I can't find that thread. It is definitely a Fitbit app problem -- I have tried EVERYTHING. There are literally four different ways to supposedly set a new range of hours using the Fitbit app (I can spell them all out here if useful), and none of them have a lasting effect. Some simply give an error message; some act as though they are changing the hours but then later you find that the change didn't work.
Fitbit app version 4.45 (I think) supposedly fixed this, but . . . it didn't. The error-message-producing ways still just gave an error message, and while one of the other ways ACTUALLY WORKED for me one time, now it doesn't work anymore, and my Fitbit is again stuck on a weird range of hours that I can't change.
Can you please report this back to the Fitbit team, and let us know if they're still working on a fix for this? It is sooooo frustrating.
Thanks,
Gretchen

Hello @Gretchencita,
Thank you very much for addressing this. I thought I was the only one experiencing these issues. I have tried EVERYTHING and cannot change the time. It is very frustrating. Especially for one who has goals to reach. I hope they get it fixed soon. Have a good day. Thank you, again!!

Today mine SEEMS to be working if I do this: Go to Fitbit app, click on profile picture in circle at upper right of screen, click on “Fitbit settings,” click on “Activity,” click on “Hourly activity,” change it THERE, and click “set goal.” There are at least 3 other ways to do it, and this way has failed me in the past, but today . . . it worked. Give that a try and see if it works for you!
