I just purchased my Fitbit Charge 5 today, how can I make it always on display at full brightness?

Is there anyway I can make this happen for like 1 hr while at the gym. I'm talking about fully on display at full brightness without any dimming.

Hello @NeptuneAve

I don't think there's a way to make it full brightness without any dimming, but it's like the light in a fridge, when you open the door, it's on.  When your wrist is rotated where you can see the display, it's on full brightness.

What Exercise Shortcut are you using for the gym?  If you're using Workout or Weights, it's possible to set the display to Always On by tapping on Start, then scrolling up to the Always On button and toggling it on.  It should save that setting for you.

I use it for doing my Body Pump class and any time I'm actually in a position to physically see the screen it goes to full brightness.  Personally I'm very happy with that setting and performance.

I hope that helps a bit.

If that's the case I think I prefer it to go completely black when I'm not looking and then when I turn my wrist I see full brightness. I like that better than initially seeing the time in a faint dim light and then turning my wrist to see the same time just brighter. Seems like a waste of effort because I already saw the time.
