I want to change the language, but I don't want to upgrade the firmware version

The firmware version of my charge5 is 20001.182.26, which has been working well, but it can only display English on this device. I changed the country setting on the app and couldn't change it to Chinese. However, when I installed the latest version of the Fitbit app last night and synchronized charge5, it showed a pink prompt: "Update the language of the smart bracelet." I would like to ask if clicking this update will update it directly to the latest firmware version, or will it only update the language and keep the existing firmware version unchanged?
My idea is:
1. I don't want to upgrade to the latest firmware version because it may shorten the battery life;
2. I want to change the language of my charge5 to Chinese for display;
May I know how to proceed with the change?

Hello @NiuR

This help article has the information on How to change the language (<-- click link)

As best as I know, updating the language shouldn't automatically install the firmware update. The firmware update is done by tapping on the device icon, followed by tapping on the device tile.
