My sleep reporting is rarely if ever accurate, so any and all "scientific" reports of Fitbit accuracy for sleep monitoring is wildly exaggerated for sure. If I wake up to pee, even once, Fitbit stops recording my sleep and assumes I was awake that last hour or two. I realize it doesn't start recording for an hour of being still, but maybe that's a bad way to initialize sleep monitoring. This has been a problem for at least 4 years with Fitbit and has never been solved.

Hello @sephethus
This is interesting: I go up to pee at least once, usually twice or thrice a night and Fitbit does not stop sleep monitoring.
Does your heart rate elevates significantly while you are up ? Or is the bathroom far away from your bed ?
