Hello,
Before buying a Charge 5, I would like to know whether the Charge 5 records or not Indoor cycling bike?
If not, which Fitbit model can record Indoor cycling bike?
Thanks
Regards,
Eric

Hello @ACERIC and welcome to the Community. I looked at your public profile and can see that you are a long time Fitbit user. If you have experience with the Exercise app, and I'm guessing that you do, the Exercise app on the Charge 5 includes Spinning. Spinning is the recommended shortcut for any indoor stationary bike.

Hello @LZeeW
Thank you for your quick answer.
By the way, I found another post related to the same topic.
After reading it, I have two "new" questions:
1st. What's the difference between Spinning and Stationnary bike?
2nd. Considering the answers from the post (see above), the Spinning should'nt be preloaded on the Charge 5. Thus, using a Charge 5 I would have to create a "shortcut"?
PS: my indoor bike is an Ultrasport
Thanks
Regards,
Eric

@ACERIC A spin cycle is one type of indoor cycle. Your position is more like being on a road bike than on a commuter bike. To answer your second question, there are about 20 exercise shortcuts available. Your Charge 5 is preloaded with its maximum number of exercises. Here is a link to an excellent video that shows you how to customize your exercise shortcut list.

Hello @LZeeW
Thanks for this explanation.
Regarding the video, I saw the Spinning shortcut. But considering the difference(s) between a Spin cycle and other types of indoor cycle, is that "only" Spinning shortcut will do the job?
Thanks
Regards,
Eric

@ACERIC Spinning is the correct shortcut for any indoor bike. The position differences between your Ultrasport and a Peloton, for example, will favor different muscle groups. But pedaling is pedaling. There is one Bike shortcut, for tracking outdoor biking. You use it for road bikes, mountain bikes, commuter bikes and recumbent tricycles. Pedaling is pedaling.
I don't know why Fitbit chose Spinning when it released the exercise app. It might have been the cult sport at the time.
