What's the chance of blood pressure testing being introduced in a firmware update?


This article makes mention of Sense users (the other Fitibit with ECG testing capability) being involved in a study of blood pressure reading capability.
 
I've noticed that the latest Galaxy smartwatch has blood pressure reading functionality by using its PPG sensor. 

 

The Charge 5 also has a PPG sensor.

Hello @LinearPeanut and welcome to the Help forum.  You are correct about the blood pressure study.  Fitbit keeps ongoing research and plans very hush-hush.  Users will know when Fitbit makes an announcement.
