My Charge 5, brand new in December, is erratic in tracking running/walking. The steps are counted correctly but the "Days of Exercise" do not always count. An hour+ walk of nearly 10,000 steps yesterday did not appear. Nothing else has changed. There does not seem to be a pattern.

Hi @PDB-Mequon. I would suggest you start by resetting your Charge 5 tracker, and clearing the app ache, on your mobile device, for your Fitbit app.
How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I followed your instructions and it seems to have helped. There were several days before when no activity was tracked even though the step counts were over 10,000. The mileage was tracked and all other functions were tracked and seemed correct.
Thanks

should I reset the charge 5 tracker every day? The charge 5 counts steps correctly when I walk big distancies; today the app thinks that I didn't walk enough between 9 and 11, charge 5 shows that I walked enough.

@RosaFischer I would hope you wouldn't need to do that. If that is the case, then there is another issue.
