Hi everyone, and thanks for your continued reports.

I'm happy to share this has been fixed and you shouldn't receive this prompt unless you're located in US. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, your patience and feedback are truly appreciated. I understand how much you'd like to have the irregular heart rhythm notifications available in your region and our team will continue working to bring this feature to Fitbit users across the world.

@netineti   According to the Help article, you should be able to find this again by tapping on your Discover icon > Assessments & Reports > Irregular Rhythm Notifications.  This is different from the Heart Rhythm Assessment, used with the ECG app on the Charge 5.  I need to point out that a different user had a different issue.  She described tapping on a Back button, getting kicked out of the setup, and the correct tile wasn't in the Assessments & Reports to try again.  Please report back if you are able to find the tile again.  I also need to ask if you are in the US.  Some non-US users have been getting the sign up banner, but it is only available in the US.

@netineti   I don't know why you and other non-US users are getting this.  Fitbit is aware.

@o0o.WoW.o0o   Sorry about the tease, but I don't think you will be able to set it up until you are back in the US.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members. @LZeeW Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the details provided and your efforts while working on this matter. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by this situation. Our team is aware of this prompt received by users who are located in an unsupported country and they're working to get this corrected.

As our friend mentioned, the irregular heart rhythm notifications feature is currently only available in US, and additional countries will be added as regulatory clearance is obtained. For a list of countries where irregular rhythm notifications or the ECG app is cleared for use, click here. I understand your point of view and appreciate your feedback, please know your comments haven't gone unnoticed.

My Afib notification disappeared as well and I couldn't find the tile in the discover tab. I'm from Australia. Hopefully it rolls out soon.

Hi,

Is this available in Canada? Also, why is it not available if you have been previously diagnosed with afib. Many people with afib have no symptoms and knowing when an episode is happening or that it has recently happened, can be a huge advantage for successful treatment down the road. I myself got afib in 2018. I diligently got cardioverted (re-establish normal sinus rhythm) each time my heart beat went irregular, even though with no physical symptoms I had a hard time recognizing that I was actually having an episode. Minimizing duration while being in irregular heartbeat improved my chances to have a successful ablation, which I had in 2019. I have now been clear for more than 3 years and would love to be able to catch any future recurrence (if any) early with your notification feature. I am a retired Medical Physicist who has consulted with cardiologists on new ablation techniques in the past. I therefore know that, early detection, as with most diseases, makes treatment success more likely and also less expensive (for the taxpayer in Canada and for the patient and/or their insurance company in the USA).

Hi there, @joe2727.

Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your interest in this feature. I'm happy to share the irregular heart rhythm notifications are now available in  more countries including Canada. To see the full list, please check this link, I'd also recommend following the instructions described in this help article to activate them.

About your other inquiry, while I understand how helpful it'd be to use all the features right out the box, certain features such as the ECG app or these notifications need to be approved in your country to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to our medical products. I appreciate your feedback and we'll keep working to bring this and other features to Fitbit users across the world.

The original question was that Fitbit reported Afib and after they viewed the information it disappeared and couldn't pull it up again. It asks you to discuss this with your doctor but the information is gone, never to be seen again.  How can you fix this?  Inspire2 with an upgrade to 3.

Welcome on board, @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for the detailed information. Since you've received those notifications, you can find all your irregular rhythm history on the Fitbit app by doing the following:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap the Discover tab at the bottom.
  2. Tap Assessments & Reports.
  3. Tap the Irregular Rhythm Notifications tile. If your tracker detected signs of any irregular heart rhythms that might be AFib, you'll see a list of notifications and when they occurred. Note that each notification is marked Unread until you tap Read More.
  4. Tap a notification and then an irregular rhythm reading for additional information.

You can always check this help article for more details about the irregular rhythm notifications feature and how they work.
