Is Charge 5 ECG available in USA?

I was thinking of buying the Charge 5 through Amazon, but some people that left reviews said the ECG was not available for their tracker. If I live in the USA, is the feature available yet, or is it pending and will be available in the near future?

@Jadecat hello and welcome to the Community! The ECG app for the Charge 5 is available in the US. I live there too and I've already been able to use it.

As @alexthecat mentioned earlier, the ECG feature is indeed available in the United States. Here is the list of all the countries where this feature is available right now: Heart Rhythm Assessment with Fitbit ECG app. 

I think the confusion on Amazon started because the ECG feature was not available when the device was first released a few months ago, but this feature was introduced with the latest firmware update released in November.

If I'm in Ukraine now but I select United States in app and profile setting, should I be able to use ECG? Now it says it's not available in my country.

Hi, thank you for your inquiry about the ECG feature, @Koreiba. 

Unfortunately the ECG feature is not available in all countries for the moment and it would not be possible to receive the feature by changing the location on the Fitbit app, since it's restricted by location and this feature often requires the approval of certain agencies and institutions of each country before they can be activated for use, so that's why this requirement can't be bypassed by changing the location. 

I recommend that you review this list periodically to check if your country has been added.  In the meantime, you can post this idea about having ECG feature available in Ukraine in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community.
