Is not tracking stairs really a big deal? I might be coming back to Fitbit

Hi,

I used to have a Fitbit Sense a while ago. I am thinking about coming back and buying a charge 5. I liked my sense but I don't really want a smart watch. I know the Charge 5 doesn't track stairs. To people who own this watch is that really a big deal? Or did you return it and get a different watch? I have been doing a lot of research about it. I don't really remember if I even used that feature on my Sense.

Thanks 🙂

I think I'm right in saying that tracking stairs doesn't affect other stats e.g. you don't get extra calories burned if you have stairs tracked, so with the five all of your other stats will not be affected.

For me I like to see stairs tracked and it's an extra level of motivation but if they are not motivational then they are pretty pointless. It sounds to me that weren't that helpful to you with the Sense so I wouldn't let their absence on the Charge 5 bother you.
