Is there a way to turn off the screen of my Charge 5 while sleeping?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I need to take off the Charge 5 to sleep if I don't want to get divorced, because the display turns on when I move my arm while sleeping, and my girl is not happy with that.

So, is there a way to turn on the display ONLY when I  tap twice?

Thanks.

Hi @Gundisalvo  there's a solution on Page 17 of the user manual - click to go there. Put the Charge 5 into sleep mode so the screen is dark. Let us know how things go for you. Hoping for many more nights of blissful sleep for you and your girl.

Look into Sleep Mode.  Either turn on in Quick Settings when go to bed, and turn off when get up, or set a schedule in Settings to automatically activate at set schedule.

Thanks, but the tracker was already in manual mode and kept turning on at night.

Also, if I switch to sleep mode, the tracker is not vibrating when I haven't completed the number of steps in an hour.

Obviously, during the design of the tracker, they have not chosen the best combination of options, that's for sure.

For Sleep Mode, if you set it in Settings, you set the schedule of the hours when you want it to be in Sleep Mode - the hours when you would be in bed.  You were apparently turning it on in Quick Settings, in which case you then would have to also turn it off in the morning.  Setting a schedule in full Settings takes care of that for you automatically, and perhaps you would find does choose the best combination of options.
