I want to buy a Charge 5 but all the  problems scare me off.  Do the current ones for sale on Amazon come preloaded with the latest updates, or will I have to start out downloading right out of the box?  Do all the Charge 5s have problems or do some buyers luck up and get one that actually works?

Hi @Den726  it's hard to have updates preloaded on any device. When you purchase a Fitbit, you get it the way it came from the factory. If an update happened after the item was produced, you'll need to update it once you've set it up. You'll get a prompt if you need to update anything.
