I am wondering if we need to do anything once fitbit goes completely to a Google platform tomorrow.

Hello @counselk5 and welcome to the Community.  I found this article on Engadget that explains things a bit.  For current users, it looks like things remain optional.  You can also get some information from this Help article.   This is the beginning of the transition.
