I see some people are having long sleeves issues with their Charge 5. I wear long sleeves when I walking/running because of the cold weather. The Charge 5 was accurately tracking my walks and even broke it up into intervals. It stopped doing that. I started walk and run intervals, it recorded that full session once. The Charge 5 would automatically start tracking the run but would not sync the data to the app and it would only sync the walk minutes before I started jogging. Or it might decide to break the walk into two separate walk times and ignore the run times. A 90 minute run/walk activity is reduced to about 30 minutes of walking. Sometimes I just walk and I may stop to speak to someone or even drink water and it ends the walk at that point even if I walk for more 30 mins or more thereafter. Does this mean that calories recorded are inaccurate? I bought this to track my calories, sleep, steps and activities. I am having trust issues with this Fitbit device. It tend to give spurious data whenever. I have to monitor this tracker constantly to see if the sleep data and activity data is accurate. It does these random things like it's on a journey of self-discovery or something. The steps count is accurate because I can estimate due to distance it also measures my HR close enough. I have another HR monitor. I trust the other features because I don't know better: ECG, EDA, SP02, breaths, etc. Fitbit please do something. I really don't like returning merchandise.
