Make a larger band for Charge 5

I fit it ridiculous that an item that is made to help people track their health would be so limited in its sizing.  I have reached out to customer service (multiple times) and searched online for weeks to try to get a band that finds my boyfriend and so far the best we could do was create our own notch on the band it originally came with.  This is the 4th Fitbit I have bought for others since I think they are a nice gift, but after this experience, I am contemplating returning this item and NEVER shopping with them again.  I cannot support a business that is so limited in its offerings, particularly for those it claims to support in their health journey.  I am VERY upset and frustrated and hope that you will create bigger bands to fit those that want to be healthier but are currently unable to use your products.

Sincerely,

A very frustrated customer

@WristEquity   The large Hook and Loop band will fit a 9" wrist.  I did a brief search among fitness tracker and smartwatch brands.  I'm not sure you will find another brand that meets your needs.  I hope you can prove me wrong.

Hi @WristEquity  have you checked on Amazon for an extender for the band? That is what many of the people have done who require a larger band. If you already made a notch on the band, you won't be able to return it to Fitbit. Check for that extender band and let us know what you think of it.

Hi @LZeeW,

I truly appreciate your response.  It is the largest band I've found and I am placing an order now in hopes this is large enough, but I still find this process very frustrating.  They used to provide xxl bands and I don't understand what would make them think they are no longer needed.  Thank you again!

Hi @Odyssey13 ,

Thank you for responding.  I tried ordering a number of bands from Amazon, but none of them fit.  I did not order an extender specifically because he did not like how that would look, but I might not have a choice it returning it is not an option.  Thank you for responding!

Im wondering how you made out with this. I have run into the same issue with my partner and was wondering if you had any recommendations? It’s extremely disappointing that they don’t have a size up that you can request in this situation. We’ll send back the small if they can ship us an XL.
In my case, he just needs one or two more options. An inch would be great. Anyways, I hope you found something. Let me know if you have a recommendation please.
thanks so much.

I never thought I had big wrists until now.  I have been surfing all over this FitBit shopping and have not found a suitable band for my Charge 5.  The rubber one it comes with gives me a rash.  Going to be shopping at the Apple Store for a watch later today.  Wish me luck.
