User manual says the Charge 5 is swimproof. My wife and I wore them in the pool one time for 15 minutes. Both devices bricked. Customer service refuses to make it right and replace them because they were slightly out of warranty. If you're going to advertise them as waterproof, make them waterproof! Or replace them when water breaks them!

Yes, that seems to be the case.  All three of my Versas bricked after swimming, conveniently (for Fitbit) right after the warrantee expired.  And I had been using them swimming many times before.
