Today I walked 13500 steps and registered 6+ miles. The Fitbit says I only burned 800+ calories and 3 zone minutes. Something is wrong!

And I repeat, is it reading heart rate?  I didn't ask that for nothing.  Calories and zone minutes are based on heart rate.  If you are not getting heart rate readings, you can't expect to get correct calories and zone minutes.

JohnnyRow,

problem is today, I logged in 16,492 steps for 7.13 miles and only got 7 zone minutes and expended 1467 calories. I was on elliptical and treadmill plus 3 miles on the road. I am 81 and exercise hard everyday but lately the zone minutes and calories don’t make sense.
