I bought a Fitbit for my daughter, and I can't set it up. She needs a parent on her account, but my account isn't setup with Google. When I try, I have no prompt to do so per the instructions provided. Customer support wasn't any help and said I have to wait till prompted. Meanwhile, I have a device for my daughter that can't be used. When is this migration set to be done because it started in June? That seems like an unacceptable response to "just wait".

Hi @Crtnyphllps children under 13 (USA) and 16 (some European countries) must have an Ace device. You can't set them up with any other style due to laws across the world. click to learn more

Thank you! That's really helpful. I think I'll just create a dummy gmail then to get her over age. I don't actually care about monitoring her.
