Can you add additional exercise options?

I am able to edit the exercise shorts cuts to change my list but it doesn't have all the options I want.

Ideally I would like to separate my Mountain bikes riding and my road bike riding and the speeds, routes and effort is very different.

Hello @Fjoyt

Once the Exercises are recorded in the App on your phone, you can edit the name of the exercise.

Tap on the exercise session, tap on the small arrow in the top right across from Categorize Exercise, then start entering Mountain Biking in the search box and tap on it to change the name.

I hope that helps a bit.

@Fjoyt  You can swap and reorder predefined exercise shortcuts in the fitbit app. "Bike" is one of the available shortcuts (profiles).

In the fitbit app:

On the today tab tap on the avatar (upper left) -> Tap on Charge 5 -> Tap on Exercise Shortcuts -> then tap edit (upper left) then when finish just sync to the Charge 5

Note: you will need to remove a shortcut in order to add a new one as you can only have a maximum of six exercise shortcuts.

Did it work for you @Fjoyt ?

I hope so!

Hi, thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I don't have the option of edit on that screen.

Hello again @Fjoyt

Looking at your screenshot, it looks like you tap on the black lines to the left of the activity you want to move and drag it up or down to reorder them.

Don’t forget to sync your Charge 5 afterwards so the order changes on there too.

Just in case you meant editing the Exercise name after you’ve done it, this is how it works on an iPhone.  I’m hoping it’s similar on Android.

Choose the exercise session.

At least on my iPhone, this allows me to change the names of exercises.  If you recorded your session as Bike and then renamed it when you got home, that would be a fairly simple way of separating them.

I hope that was what you were looking for.

@Fjoyt Your screenshot shows the following text (under run) "Add up to 2 more exercises" So in this case tap the "+" symbol in the upper right and you can add additional exercises.  When done sync the app to your fitbit.

Oh ok, thanks for the message. Unfortunately it doesn't solve the question. I had worked out how to change and reorder exercise options but I was looking for more than 1 option of bike. I.e. road and mountain. I thought there might be a way to add bike twice and give one and alias.

@Fjoyt Well you can record the session as Bike from the fitbit charge 5 and when the ride is complete just relabel it per @Wibby's suggestion above.
