Multiple Charge 5 on one account

I purchased two charge 5 devices so I can change them based on charge or outfit coordination. I can’t figure out how to connect them both. Do I have to disconnect the previous one before I can connect the next one every time?

Hi @zhilbug  you can't have them both on your account at the same time. You'd need to do, as you mentioned, disconnect one in order to connect the next one. Why not just use the time it's on the charger to take a shower, watch tv or nap - so you're not really missing any steps.

Welcome, @zhilbug! It's great to see you around. I appreciate your input @Odyssey13.

Thanks for the details about your Charge 5. You can only setup one Charge 5 to your account because, if you try to setup a second one, the Fitbit app will erase the one previously setup to it. For more details about multiple devices on your Fitbit account, you can check this help article: Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

If you're planning to change your device based on your outfit coordination, you may consider changing just the wristbands to match with your outfit. You can find different band styles on our web store.

By the way, I moved your post to the Charge 5 board to keep the Community organized.

See you around.
