The Charge 5 (one and a half years old) reset itself and then stuck at boot looping then Red circle when it was on charge, so I had to leave it until its battery ran out; I recharged it a day later, and it worked normally, but then things started to go downhill, before it auto reset, I checked the Fitbit app and there was a new update (version 57.20001.188.58) (it reset during update) for my Charge 5. Could it be that the new update caused my device to become unstable? The battery drained extremely fast, fully charged before going to bed; when woke up it was already dead...
Tried to reset, unpair with my phone but nothing work
As my warranty has expired, support refused to repair or replace it; instead, they gave me a discount code.
Does this have any chance of being fixed?

Even if the tracker did a restart by itself, please complete the restart procedure described here: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
You can contact Support again if you have some inquiry about their resolution.

I would contact support again and ask them if they could guarantee if you bough another Charge 5 with the discount code that this problem wouldn't occur again.
