My Charge 5 broke after swimming

My Charge 5 went black after a short shallow swim today. Bought it in November last year. Reclammation?

Mine did the same thing this morning! And I have swam with it many times. Today it is a black screen and won’t hold a charge for very long. Sorry I don’t have a helpful response but I thought I would latch on to your question to see if you get some answers.

Sad to hear what has happend with your Charge 5. I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support as soon as possible to make sure you've reported this within your device's warranty period:

Thanks. I talked to Fitbit support yesterday night (via Twitter). They were very understanding and offered to replace my Charge 5 directly. Problem is that I am away from home (in southern Europe) for another month, but they claim they will ship a new within 2-4 business days everywhere in the world, so I have asked them to ship it to Gran Canaria. Hope it works

You're welcome, @Manne45, thanks for reporting back.
There should be an option for parcel tracking as soon as your replacement device is on it's way. So it should be easy to redirect the delivery to a neighbor or a pickup station.

if the watch still under warranty, ask for a replacement.  don't wait too long.
