My Charge 5 has no display and battery won't charge correctly

It started with the battery not charging. I did a reset and that allowed it to charge. After charge the batter drained in about 4 hours so I did another reset using the charger cable, now I have no display.  The fitbit charges and synchs, but still will not display.

This is the last fitbit I buy.

If not charging, I used q-tip to clean contacts.
