I use a Charge 5 Fitbit since December 2021. Lately, oxygen saturation graph has completely stopped. Also the Fitbit watch does not show the ❤️ check!

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Ashley0708.

I appreciate all the information that you've provided about this issue with your Charge 5 and the SpO2 feature.

Fitbit SpO2 app is automatically added for users in select countries. Make sure your device is running the latest version. For more information on updating your tracker, see How do I update my Fitbit device? For more information on the availability of Fitbit SpO2, see fitbit.com.

If you removed the SpO2 app from your device, reinstall it in the Fitbit app on your phone:

  1. With your Fitbit device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Gallery

      Apps tab.
  3. In the list of apps, tap SpO2 > Install > Install.

You should be able to see your SpO2 trends in the Health Metrics tile in the Fitbit app on your phone. To get SpO2 information, you need to:

  1. Wear your device for at least a full day, including to sleep at night.
  2. In the morning, open the Fitbit app and tap the Health Metrics tile.
  3. Swipe up to find the Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) tile.

If you still don't receive your SpO2 information, please follow the steps listed here below:

  1. Verify if your Fitbit profile has the correct location and time zone.
  2. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile icon > Charge 5 > Apps > SpO2.
  3. Make sure all the permissions are enabled.
  4. Restart your tracker to refresh its performance.
  5. Tap Today at the bottom of the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  6. Wear your tracker slightly higher on your wrist to sleep and sync it with the Fitbit app once you're awake to check your details.

Regarding the heart rate information, could you please provide a few extra details?

Hope this helps, I'll be around.

Hello @DavideFitbit

Thank you for your response to my problem being faced by me with my Charge 5 device.

I can assure you that every suggestions/instructions from you have been checked repeatedly. I’d confirm that my Fitbit profile was updated on May 20 on reaching Dhaka, Bangladesh from Toronto, Canada with correct location & time zone.  The Apps list shows the following as is seen presently in the Charge 5 device:

1. Notifications.
2. Exercise.
3. Alarms.
4. Timers.
5. EDA Scan.
6.(Settings).

Missing from my Charge 5 device & App since May 20, 2022 is oxygen saturation (SpO2). Earlier while in Toronto, ECG 30 second app went missing. No question of my removing any app from my Charge 5 device! However, following your advice I looked around & found the app ECG 30 second along with others in another location offered for installation. But after due process, the INSTALL button didn’t work. But no where there was the app SpO2 on offer!

I fear that Fitbit devices are offered with all proper apps for Western & rich countries only & far fewer apps for others. Fitbit should make it clear to all for customers to decide if any wish to procure such device. However, if my assertion is wrong, please correct me & show me an easy way to recover the lost apps.

Many thanks & kind regards.
