I received a Charge 5 as a present, it had issues since the beginning not always receiving notifications. I went to the shop and they replaced. I have been using my new Charge 5 for 18 days, included today, but during the last 3 days it did not record any heartbeat. I tried to restart the device following the instructions, pushing 3 times at 1 s distance the button on the charger cable while connected, but it is still not working.

In the Settings app, you can turn Heart Rate off and on. Make sure you have not accidentally turned that off.
