My Charge 5 won't add calories or distance!

Please can someone help! My I have a Charge 5 and for some weeks now I have not been able to manually add calories or distance to activities. The buttons are greyed out! I have uninstalled the app and rebooted my phone a number of times and then re-installed the app - nothing seems to get the functionality back!

If it's not the Android 13 or not a Samsung phone that killed the Charge 5 that nothing works. 

 

Try hit settings on the watch go down hit restart. See if it's pairs up.

Hi thanks for the response. I have a Google Pixel 3a at the moment – not sure if that is the problem? The phone is updated regularly! I can’t find any settings on the device itself?
