My Fitbit Charge 5 is showing different steps and miles to mine despite doing the same walk why?

Thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5. 

Could you please provide a few extra details about this problem you mentioned earlier? Let me know if you're seeing different steps in the app or where exactly are you seeing a difference of steps and distance.
