My Fitbit Charge 5 screen is not working

So my Charge 5 has a black screen, is fully charged and counting steps which I can see with the app both on my computer and phone.

Thank you for the details provided about this problem with your Charge 5. 

There's a series of basic troubleshooting steps that are generally recommended for display issues with this device. Please make sure that you've tried the following:  

  1. Complete the 3 pulse restart procedure using the charging cable. 
  2. Sync your device in the Fitbit app by tapping your profile picture > Charge 5 > Sync Now.
  3. If you  can't sync, tap on your profile picture > Charge 5 > Tap to see if a firmware banner appears. 
  4. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.

In addition, you can follow these steps in case you're having trouble to charge your device.

That all are done but still no working

Hi FitBit Support, I am having the exact same issue, my wife is too with the exact same type of FitBit (Charge 5).  It seems a common issue. I have tried all the steps mentioned but the issue is still occurring.  It seems this happens sometimes if the battery goes flat.  I have got it working previously following the restart steps but it is not working this time.

Please kindly advise if there are any other troubleshooting steps to take.  Thank you.

I'm having the same problem. I restart it by pressing the button on the cable three times, the logo comes on, but that's it. It still won't turn on but is syncing with my phone.
