My charge 5 is stuck on the same step count

The charge 5 started the morning with 525 steps (the correct number)

then fell back to a step count of 119, and I cannot get it to advance or recognize steps?

I have followed instructions to restart, and I have no other fitbit accounts.

Can you please help?

I’m having a similar problem, steps reverting to a 19,257 steps, regardless of actual steps.  I have to sync Fitbit, close app, reopen app and sync again (it usually works), very frustrating. I’ve called and messaged Fitbit have updated app multiple times, twice in last two days, see how it goes.

Does Fitbit even read these posts?

I'm having the same problem. My hourly steps stops at  132. It's been happening for 2 days and no troubleshooting will fix my Charge 5. It also is no longer sending hourly move reminders.

Uninstalled and reinstalled app, no longer reverting back to same step count. Been working for over a week now.
