My fitbit Charge 5 does not upload run times to include seconds to the app

All of my run times are rounded off to the nearest minute.

I dug through forums from two years ago when there seemed to be some outrage about this.  Apparently, it will display online but not in the app.

I don't think it can be a glitch after this much time.

Did I choose the wrong fitbit for running?  Seconds are REALLY important in logging training times, personal bests, etc.

As a project manager there are two reasons why issues remain unresolved after this amount of time:

1. The capability to fix the issue doesn't exist.

2. The willingness to fix the issue doesn't exist.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I think you are asking questions for which you already know the answer. Some other brands do record down to the seconds. I suggest since you seems to already have the conclusions, to act accordingly.
