NEW Charge 5, GPS not working...tried all the troubleshooting..'they're working on it'

I've been a Fitbit user since 2013. I recently upgraded to the Charge 5 ~ display looked great...it's kind of a piece of crap. Straight out of the box it couldn't 'see' my phone. The GPS doesn't work. I've done all the troubleshooting, restarted, reinstalled, tried the built in, dynamic and phone supported..rode my bike on the routes I've rode for years (old Fitbit had zero problems with GPS on them) and it doesn't work. Tried the help chat...let them know my phone was saying 'can't sync'...was told it's working on their end...that they are aware of the GPS problem and are working on it.  I mean...that's BS. You're selling the Charge 5 as having GPS and it doesn't work? make sure you're out in the open, no trees no tall buildings??? Seriously. Fitbit..you used to be better than this. And when I said I've had the issues out of the box, not one offer to replace, discuss warranty etc.
