Just received my Charge 5 and it is not recording my sleep!!

Hi there, @AlegnaT. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Charge 5.

Sleep stages are based on heart rate data. Since you both just got the Fitbit Charge 5, give the heart rate a few days to settle down. It does some calculations, looking at heart rate throughout the day and while you are sleeping, so it might just not have enough data to give a reasonable value yet.
