New Charge 5 won't turn on

I just got a new Fitbit charge 5 to replace my much loved charge 3. I cannot get it to turn on. The charger attaches fine but nothing but a black screen. I already shut off Bluetooth and turned it back on. I already pressed the charger button 3x. I tapped on the screen 2x. I turned my phone off and turned it back on. I don’t want to lose my stats from my charge 3 and I’m already a premium member. Can somebody help me?

Hi @kathysgems  as long as you were able to sync your Charge 3 one last time, your stats are there.

Thanks! Finally got it to work. Directions were correct, it was the outlet that didn’t work.
