Hello - I bought a new Fitbit charge 5 tracker a week ago. I followed the instruction to configure the tracker but it stopped responding during update. The display has now gone blank and the reboot option is not helping either. On re-boot, the Fitbit logo appears for a second and then it goes blank again.
Did anyone of you have similar issues ?. Any help ?.

Same happened to me. I just received it today from Amazon. It boots up shows the Fitbit logo and then goes blank. Happened everytime I rebooted it using the press charger button 3 times method.
Very sad this is a lousy product. Please help.

Somehow my Android phone can find the tracker but when it asks or 4-digit code, I can never enter it because the tracker doesn't show anything at all. Not matter what I try, the screen just doesn't wake up. Please help.

Very lousy product. I am facing the exact same problem you have faced. I wonder if there is support process for such issues.

Same thing here. The only option available from Fitbit is to return the "pebble" and they will send a replacement. Take advantage of the Amazon return policy immediately, then buy something from another manufacturer.

Just got mine tonight and same thing. Tried different outlets and a computer and different adapters. Just getting a blank screen except for a brief pop up of logo when I reset. I left it plugged in for hours thinking it just needed to charge a bit, but still nothing.

Problem is returning it if you bought it from FitBit. Customer spopport has had me om the phone for HOURS!! and still they would not issue a return and said they will send it on to their special team they have for Charge 5 issues, not a good sign. I have been a fitbit fan for 6 years and Customer support on this Charge 5 has been the worst I have ever seen, it's a shame but will be moving on to a different product once I get fitbit to take back this useless bracelet they sent me!

Same here. The update kept crashing and never completed. Now the charge 5 doesn’t respond at all. Tried the resets and I don’t even get vibrate or logo. I’m working with tech support now.
I replaced an Inspire 2 because it had so many problems. I’ve had a Fitbit since they came out. Probably won’t get another….

Same thing is happening to me. Just bought this Charge 5, and it just crashes on update and now has the black screen. I followed the instructions and let it sit and do it's thing for the update. Now, it's useless.
