New Fitbit can’t connect

Edit: Once the Fitbit logo comes on it goes black so I’m not sure why I can show the logo but nothing else 

 


So I just got the Fitbit at target and I went to plug it in the logo came up then nothing. In the app it finds the device and asks for the code but the screen is black I’ve tried the button on the cord but nothing. Is this a dead screen issue or do I need to let it charge for a while before I can use it.

I'm sorry you're having problems.  It might be a good idea to leave it on the charger for a while before trying to set it up, just in case that's an issue.  It's also important to leave it on the charger when you do try the pairing process.

 

As you posted an hour ago, I'm hoping things have resolved themselves for you.

It didn’t I’ll try that but I’m most likely going to return it to target
and have them give me a new one

I'm sorry to hear that.  I did look and find another thread that had some extra instructions in it.  You have to read down it a bit for them though.
