Newbie can’t find step count on Fitbit app

Just got my Charge5 last week. Have the Fitbit app and got logged into premium yesterday. Today is the first day I’ve looked over the stats.
I did also download the Fitbit to Apple Health app and it syncs to Health just fine.

Of course I seem to be taking a lot more steps now that I have a Fitbit that maybe my iPhone or Apple watch weren’t counting? I checked several times and my Fitbit doesn’t treat my arm movements as steps.
It’s curious but not today’s question.

I can track my Fitbit steps on Apple Health once I manually go to that app and manually sync it. It’s a pain but has worked so far. But where is the step count in the Fitbit app itself?? I’ve spent an hour trying to figure this out (counting all the rabbit holes I went down reading other people’s issues 😂).

My app wants to show my my calories, which I am currently unconcerned about, as the first thing. But I don’t see a step count when I scroll down the screen anywhere.

Hi @DiannaH524  if you see burned calories first thing, then you need to set the goal for steps. Looks like somehow the goal is burned calories.
