No ECG on Fitbit Charge 5 in Malaysia

I bought the Fitbit Charge 5 in Malaysia for the specific feature of the ECG Scanner and just found out that this feature is unavailable in Malaysia. I am most disappointed to hear this. Please advise WHEN this feature would be rolled out.

Hello @PhuaCK and welcome to the Community.  The ECG app is a medically regulated feature.  It was released in the US after it received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration.  It must be approved by the equivalent regulatory body in Malaysia before it can be released there.  Fitbit doesn't control this.  The Malaysian government does.

Hello LZeeW,
Thank you for the clarification.
I wasn't aware of that when I bought Fitbit after reading reviews about
Fitbit's ECG feature.
So it's kind of frustrating paying for a device that I thot I could use for
the ECG feature, and then finding out it's not available.
