Hi,
I recently updated from the charge 4 to the charge 5. When I used the 4 it would track elevation gain using my phone gps (it wasn’t super accurate but I didn’t mind). This elevation gain would show both on the watch, as well as on the app. Now I have the 5 and have recorded a few hikes with it, but the elevation gain isn’t available on the watch or on the app afterwards. Did Fitbit get rid of that feature in the charge 5? How can I see the elevation gain like I used to? Thank you!

The Charge 4 had a built-in altimeter that enabled it to track floors but this sensor was not included in the Charge 5 so it can't track floors. I'm a bit confused about your mention of GPS though as this is not used to track floors.

@Cgerz66 elevation gain is tracked with altimeter and Charge 5 doesn't have necessary hardware. Fitbit doesn't use GPS for that purpose so you can't get elevation gain (or elevation profile) using Charge 5.
