No HR measured on Charge 5

I just bought a Charge 5 after my Charge 4 broke irreparably after about a year (disappointed to say the least). One of the features that I use the most is the heart rate feature. I am an athlete and I track it for many reasons. Since getting my Charge 5, I have not collected ANY measurements on my hr, and I am incredibly frustrated. Is it a Charge 5 thing or a software issue? Should I return my product for a new one? I’ve already lost 3 weeks of tracking which is inherently frustrating.

Look in Settings to make sure that 'Heart Rate' is not turned off.  Sometimes that seems to happen unintentionally.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I seem to have not realized there is a HR option on the settings of the fitbit itself and not just the settings on the app. I had been looking through just the app settings the whole time and failed to ever look at the fitbit settings! Thank you!! I feel like an idiot now, but it explains why everything else seemed to line up like it should be on/working until now.
