Got the new charge 5 in hopes it would finally do my sleep score right. I loved my charge 4 other than the sleep score will work 1 night and then not for a week. I'm having the same issue already with the 5.

Define sleep page. Sleep reported on the watch you mean? How important is that since a full report is given in the app?

Sleep page: screen presented in the app when tapping on previous night's sleep details. The purple-ish one that says Sleep on top.

My sleep score from Tues and Weds have now appeared on the purple Sleep page in the app. Where they were once empty (see my screenshots in this thread) they are now populated. Go figure. Good thing I'm paying extra for this.

Your screen shots in the tgread are for Sunday and Saturday and Friday.
No Monday Tuesday and Wednesday data. These days if empty should have had the date displayed with sleep data but no score.

Lol, I took the screenshots yesterday (Wednesday -- you can see the white mark on the W in the sleep score chart in the OP). Can you not believe that the app didn't function properly? Anyway, it's "fixed" now and your additional reply was unnecessary. Thanks.
Here's a screenshot from TODAY, Thursday 10/7/21. You can see Tues and Weds now populated (showing the 5:50 and 67 from Wed, even) and Thurs (last night) unpopulated because I really didn't get a sleep score last night.

Is there a solution for this problem? I'm thinking of returning the Charge 5 as it doesn't function as designed.

Hi, thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing the same inconvenience with your Charge 5, @Prenee0601.
It seems that this was resolved for other users who were experiencing this problem, before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps and recommendations listed here previously?
I'll be around.

Hey thanks DavideFitbit for reaching out. I've not tried all of the suggestions, but have been resetting Bluetooth to get basic functions. Also, it won't keep a charge for more than a day. Thanks again, I will keep trying.

@Prenee0601 Thank you for your reply, let me know if you're still experiencing the same behavior after the troubleshooting steps mentioned earlier.
Regarding the inconvenience with the battery draining too fast, because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary, but it shouldn't last only one or two days.
Please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article. Keep in mind that if you turn on always-on display, Charge 5 has a battery life of up to 3 days and you use built-in GPS continuously, Charge 5 has a battery life of up to 5 hours.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.

I noticed lack of recording a walk in morning yet recorded shopping events as an activity e times in the day accurately. Then it missed 2 hours of my sleep last night Jan 11 2022.

Thanks for the feedback. I wondered if I needed to reseat my device.

I have had my new Fitbit Charge 5 for 2 weeks now and it is not recording sleep most of time, or other times, incorrectly (stopping the middle of the night, or starting in the middle of the night). I've been round and round with the support group thru chats and every time, it's "try something else that I've already done and call me in the morning." My case # is 43704724. I can't do this anymore so I will go back to using my Charge 4 which records sleep perfectly. And I'm returning the Charge 5. Very disappointed in Fitbit.

What I find most frustrating is that my Charge 3 gave me sleep scores about 85% of the time, and I only replaced it because the screen went black and couldn't be read.
I replace it with a Charge 5, and get a sleep score less than 10% of the time, but Fitbit insist it's a problem with the way I'm using the device, or imply that it's something physiological (couldn't get a consistent heart rate).
I've been a Fitbit user for several years, and until the Charge 5 I've been exceptionally happy with them.

I tried fit bit inspire 3 it collected sleep data great the first week then nothing since, I read charge 5 is better so returned and bought the charge 5 … still no sleep score or stages.. I’m paired and I restarted, hoping it will work better tonight…very disappointed though. My other data appears to be working…
