No information is synching from the Fitbit Charge 5 to the Fitbit App

The last synch it had was at 6:35 this morning.  The battery was at 48%.

 

I tried recharging the fitbit.  Nothing.  I tried to restart by pushing the button at the end of the charger three times until the fitbit icon came on.  Still nothing.  I restarted the fitbit itself using the button in the settings part of the fitbit, still nothing.

 

Then I tried to manually synch the Fitbit using the app.  It said it was synching, but I checked and the information is still the same as it was at 6:35 this morning, right down to the 48% battery. 

 

Up until this point, it has worked perfectly.  What do I have to do to get this thing running again?

OK I seem to have been able to fix it myself using advice from the thread where a user's Fitbit was not synching full information.  Here is what I did.

 

 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see the tile.

OK I seem to have been able to fix it myself using advice from the thread where a user's Fitbit was not synching full information.  Here is what I did.

 

 

  • Log out from the app.

  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see the tile.
